Megan Smith, Vice President

Megan is extremely proud to say that she is a third generation Oregonian. She grew up rafting, hiking, camping, traveling and raising Guide Dogs. Her family lived in New Zealand for a year when she was a child. She lived in Argentina and attended high school during the summer of 1998. As an exchange student, she lived in Spain during the summer of 2002. She received her BA in Spanish from Oregon State University in 2004. Two months later, she tore her ACL up on Mt. Hood and had knee surgery. She received her Master’s degree in Teaching from Concordia University in 2008. She has taught at Welches, Kelso, Cottrell and OTA (K, 1st and 4th). She earned her ESOL Endorsement from Portland State in 2009. She married her long-time friend Ryan in 2011. Their son, Ridder, is five this year and will be starting at her school!
